User:Diflucan
Hey everyone,
I've been prescribed Diflucan by a UK GP in the UK for the flu, and I'm now wondering if anyone else has tried it? I've been prescribed it for the flu only for 3 months, so the medicine may not be suitable for everyone. Does anyone have any experience with it and/or advice?
Reply from Diflucan Doctor:Hi User,
Thanks for your question! I'm going to ask here as this advice is quite general and doesn't involve a lot of trial and error. It might be a bit more helpful if I can find some good generic versions online.
You're welcome User, feel free to share your experiences with the medicine. If you have any more questions or would like to discuss the specifics of your situation, feel free to ask here. Remember, you're not alone in needing healthcare advice from healthcare professionals.
Thanks a lot User! I'll definitely talk to my GP and see what their recommendations are for me.

The only thing I can think of is getting prescriptions online, and the cost per prescription is not cheap.
Thank you, User!

This new drug, Fluconazole, has been approved for use in the treatment of the following fungal infections:
In the United States, the fluconazole has been approved for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections. The drug is also available in the form of oral suspension. The drug is generally considered safe when used in doses of 100 milligrams (mg) per day for 5 days.
This new drug is being developed by Merck.
A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that Fluconazole was more effective in treating vaginal yeast infections than any other drug in the United States.
Fluconazole has been approved for the treatment of the following vaginal infections:
The new drug will be administered in two different dosages. One will be 150 milligrams (mg) once a day, and the other will be 50 mg once every 12 hours. The dosage for the 150 mg dose will be based on the type and severity of the infection, which can affect the effectiveness of the drug. The dose of Fluconazole will be determined by a doctor, usually a gastroenterologist, depending on the severity of the infection.
